MICHAEL A. CURRY served in the United States Marine Corps and was awarded the Navy Achievement Medal while stationed with the 3rd Surveillance, Reconnaissance, Intelligence Group in Okinawa, Japan, and the Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal while serving as the chief statistician for the 4th Marine Corps Recruiting District in New Cumberland, Pennsylvania.

Mr. Curry was honorably discharged from the Marine Corps and worked as a business analyst before earning his undergraduate degree in Political Science from the University of South Florida. After university, Mr. Curry lived overseas teaching English in the Republic of Korea and backpacking through Central Europe. Upon returning to the States, Mr. Curry attended the University of Florida College of Law and was a member of the Florida Law Review and the Journal of Law and Public Policy. Mr. Curry clerked for Awerbach & Cohn, P.A. during his last year of law school and became an associate upon graduating.
